Calling Tab becoming inactive if not on the HubSpot browser

SOLVE

I have HubSpot open all day and my call tab is open, green and always open in the background. Receiving calls whilst I am physically active in HubSpot is not an issue but if i am using another browser or application and am not active on HubSpot, the call tab diverts to disconnected within a couple of minutes. 

Is there a way to extend the amount of time before the call tab disconnects and if not, is this something that can be explored?

In HubSpot, the call tab disconnecting after a period of inactivity, especially when you're not actively using HubSpot, is likely a feature designed to conserve resources or manage call states when the browser isn't engaged with HubSpot directly.

Unfortunately, as of now, there isn't a built-in option in HubSpot to extend the time before the call tab disconnects or to prevent it from disconnecting during periods of inactivity.
However, here are a few potential workarounds  can be
 Browser Focus and Background Activity
  • Some browser extensions or settings may allow you to keep HubSpot active even when you're not directly focused on it. For example, using a browser extension that prevents the tab from becoming inactive or stopping the browser from putting tabs to sleep could help. Extensions like "Keep Awake" (for Chrome) can ensure your browser doesn’t put the HubSpot tab into an idle state.
