I'm looking for clarification on one-party consent. Meaning, if the user placing the call consents to recording, then you do not have to notify the recipient that the call is being recoreded. Is this correct?
Hey @HWinckler, thank you for posting in our Community!
In Wisconsin, the law follows one-party consent, meaning that as long as one party (the caller) consents to the recording, you don't need to notify the other party. (More information here)
However, it's always a good idea to double-check the most current regulations or consult legal advice if you're unsure about compliance.
Kindly,
Pam
