what data is tracked on non-marketing contacts

Hi Community,

We have customers in various deal stages that do not need our mass eDMs, but will have more 1-1 meetings, calls and emails.

If we add them as a contact and automatically tag them as non-marketing (via a workflow), will their non-marketing activities be logged?

in other words, can these people be non-marketing contacts, but things like meetings, calls, and emails be logged in the "activity" section of the contact (manually or by the MS Calendar integration)?

Yes 🙂 – marketing contact status, in short, is required for sending marketing emails and ads audiences, see here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/marketing-contacts#tools-that-only-work-with-marketing-contact...

Anything that's not listed under the link / above will work without marketing contact status.
