"Uneditable" fields or "Copy to clipboard" button

SOLVE

Is there a way to have uneditable fields in the contact's records on the left sidebar? That way no one can accidentally modify or erase data?

Alternatively, is there a way to add a "copy to clipboard" button on fields for the left sidebar like the one that's included in the profile? (See below)

Thank you!

Hi @JLogeot,

Yes, that's possible, however only available within the Enterprise subscriptions: Restrict edit access for properties

The 'copy to clipboard' button cannot be enabled for all fields. This is something you could request from the product team by submitting a post to the HubSpot Ideas section of the community. The product team reviews these suggestions based on their popularity.

Hi @JLogeot

You will first need to have Hubspot Enterprise. Once you have that, you can go the property you want to make it uneditable, edit it, then click on Assign users and settings like in the screenshot below.
You will then be able to limit editing to users, teams or yourself.
