I want to create a workflow that changes the priority status of a deal when "no activity is scheduled."
The problem is that I have several deals that say "no activity scheduled" on on their deal card, but when I click into the deal, I see an upcoming task scheduled. Why is that? I understand a scheduled activity to be a scheduled call, email, meeting, or task - is that correct?
I am still trying to figure this out. Every deal I create has "no activity for __ minutes" "no activity scheduled". How do I remove this. If I cannot remove this, how do I create a deal so that this is not there? Or can I hide it from view?
It just takes up so much space in my deals and I cant see all of the important deal info I need to see.
HI Jennifer - I have a follow up question if you please - Deals in my pipeline still show as "No Activity Scheduled" even when I schedule a task for a future date. Do you know how I can change this so that it shows up as an Activity scheduled? (I think future tasks count as future activity)
THIS - is incredibly enlightening and beneficial. Thank you. I think my team may be entering activities under contacts/companies that they have not associated with deals. Appreciate the input very much. Thank you!
You're welcome @MPestorius, I'm so happy this was helpful!
It's definitely worth reviewing your process for task creation - for me, when I create a task on the contact or company record, if there is one deal associated it is added by default (I didn't verify whether multiple are automatically or not).
It's pretty easy to update the associations when you create the task initially vs having to go back and add it later.
Happy to help if you run into further questions!

I see this problem with some deals where there are pending tasks, but the deal card says "no activity scheduled". It's not with every deal, but that's what makes it problematic: the deal board presentation is not an accurate reflection of whether a task is scheduled or not. In all of the deals, tasks are assigned to a contact that has been added to the deal, rather than having tasks assigned directly to the deal. Most of these tasks result in a "Task due in XX days/hours", but not all of them.
Please let me know if there is a fix for this problem, as it stops us from using the deal board as a management/review tool for deals.
