"Last Contacted" and "Last Engagement" fields not updating in Sales Hub > Tasks
Hi,
The "Last Contacted" and "Last Engagement" fields are not updating for some "Associations" (companies/contacts) in Sales Hub > Tasks even if there have been emails sent and engagement. Rather than the "Last Contacted" and "Last Engagement" dates, I see a dash. However, under Companies and Contacts, the dates have been updated correctly. This happens for most of the Associations in my Tasks list though not for all.
I'm using the Free Sales Hub version and Gmail integration.

This is happening to me too, and it has nothing to do with email extensions: I simply updated the record with a "logged call" and I see "last updated" correct in the deal, but "--" in the task list, see below:
And here's what I see in the task list:
(the circled row is the one for the task associated with this deal)
RE: Just wanted to confirm if the example provided has the activity of the Nov 3 showing in the second image is the one in the email associated with the Task? Or it's another email that is not associated with the task?
In the screenshots I shared earlier:
Tasks - shows the contact associated with Company A
Companies - Shows Company A
Because both are associated I'd assume that the Last Contacted and Last Engagement dates would be in sync, but that doesn't seem to always happen when there's activity.

Hi,
they were sent from Gmail as one-off emails, just like other emails that do show up in the Last Contacted and Last Engagement columns. All were tracked.
Apologize for the delay! Just wanted to confirm if the example provided has the activity of the Nov 3 showing in the second image is the one in the email associated with the Task? Or it's another email that is not associated with the task?
What this will allow you to do is send an email from Gmail, and those engagements will be recorded to that customer's HubSpot record (or create one, if none exists) and update the Last Contacted Date property in the process. As long as an email shows up in the sent folder of the associated Gmail account, it should be trackable in this way with the extension installed and active.
