Hi, Guys! it should be workingit should be workingI'm reaching out to bring a technical issue to your attention regarding the import of contacts from an Excel file into HubSpot. Despite resolving all the conflicts that were flagged by the platform, the "Next" button remains unresponsive. I've been attempting to address these issues for two days now and have even tried it from different computers with no success.

Given the urgency of the matter, could you kindly assist me?

Hi @Neodynamix

Just adding to @JakeKnight's point - based on the screenshot you shared you are attempting to import contacts and all their associated activities. In order to do so the import file needs to contain the relevant information to either create or update those activities. So you have two options:

  1. If you just want to import contacts, make sure to select only contacts in the import guide as @JakeKnight described.
  2. If you want to import contacts and their associated activities, expand the "red flag" error messages to see which information is missing. This will look something like this.

So on the previous screen, when you set up your import...

It looks like you selected to import Contacts, and at the bottom you selected to import all of the Activities:

It is very likely that your import is actually only intended to import the Contact itself and not all of the associated stuff.

Uncheck these boxes and give it a shot. If you have that data, it can be imported seperately once the contacts are created.

Hi @Neodynamix

There a couple of "red flags" on the top of your import for various objects like calls, meetings, tasks, notes, etc. If you expand those it tells which properties are missing.

Have you looked into those, updated them, and reuploaded the new import file?

Thanks

Frank
