merge contacts on form submission

Dears, 
in page Marketing -> Lead Capture -> Forms there is a tab calles Submissions.

how i can merge contacts list via phonr number or contat id, is there any automaid way to merge the contacts becouse when i tried to export the list i got mostly same contacts they are filling the form with same name and phone number but deferant email addreslolol.png

Hi @MAlMasri,

 

HubSpot only automatically deduplicates contacts by Email address. If you want to deduplicate by other criteria, I'd recommend looking into a solution like Insycle: https://www.insycle.com/hubspot/

 

You can also check if you have enabled the 'Always create contact for new email address' option in the settings of this form. If this is enabled, HubSpot won't automatically merge contacts. If it is disabled...

 

"HubSpot will first attempt to associate the submission with an existing contact with the submitted email address. If no contact exists at that email address, HubSpot will recognize and update your contacts based on the cookies in their browsers. This may result in contacts being overwritten if the same form is submitted multiple times from the same device."
