deal amount manual entry

When I create a deal in the portal after choosing the line item,the deal amount property becomes uneditable as shown in the screenshot.what might restrcits adding a value manually if the line item is applied

Can you confirm that you have edit access to the amount field? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/restrict-view-edit-access-for-properties

On a side note, are you sure that you want to publicly share in a forum which open deals you have (including company names) and what your pipeline value and average deal size is?

@karstenkoehler my bad i deleted the screenshot. yes i have edit access to the amount property. I can even apply value for the property while creating the deal but for an unknown reason when I apply a value to the line item it becomes uneditable
