count number of bounce when the workflow is on

SOLVE

@ENadeem why not use this contact property?

Marketing emails bounced: the number of marketing emails sent from your account that hard or soft bounced (this does not include global bounces, that are bounces in any account in HubSpot's system for a permanent reason, such as an invalid recipient).

Invalid email addresses are suppressed from sends. Typically, no bounce occurs here as it is prevented entirely. There is a contact property for this as well.

Invalid email address: whether the email address is invalid.

@ENadeem in that case, pick event based enrollment in your workflow and choose this:

This will start enrolling records once the workflow is on. It will not retroactively enroll contacts.

Hi @ENadeem,

That depends on what you want to happen? This will only apply to bounces that occur while the workflow is on.

If you want to enroll all existing bounces, then:

  1. Use "When filter criteria is met" for enrollment criteria (if you're already in event-based enrollment, you'll need to change the enrollment type)
  2. Find "Contact properties" as filter option
  3. Select "Email hard bounce reason" and specify "is known"
