Hello community, I am trying to solve a problem with a form external to hotspot. I have already configured the tracking code on my website through tag manager, but when I fill out the form and send it to hubspot, a contact is created that only contains the email, the other fields are not added (name, surname, telephone) This is despite the fact that the information is sent but an error occurs that I will leave in a screenshot
and what says: This value was not passed to the Contact record. “lastname” is not a Contact property.
You can create form fields or labels to match HubSpot default properties or create a custom contact property to match the name or label of your form field. However, non-HubSpot form fields cannot be manually mapped. HubSpot will automatically try to map form fields to existing contact properties in HubSpot using logic in the following order:
field name with contact property internal name
field label with contact property name
field label with contact property internal name
field name with contact property name
"apellidos", "nombre", "n_meros" don't seem to be either of the four above - hence the error message. You would have to create properties with those names, rename existing ones in HubSpot, or adjust your external form for the mapping to be successful.
Best regards
