When you select multiple contacts you used to be able to edit the title of the task, the due date, which queue it was in, etc. You can no longer undate the title as of the new update yesterday. Having the option to update the titles of your tasks in bulk is helpful when the auto follow up task button makes the title of your task "Follow up with (name)".
It seems that the ability to bulk edit the task title was recently removed as you described. Would you mind sharing any other use cases if you had? Was the feature helpful for organization purpose or something else?
This is a huge heartburn when I need to make updates to tasks and assign them out to my team. I just had 1200 tasks assigned to me via a supervisor and need to assimilate them out to other teammates working with me, varrying each users task slightly as well as the type, priority, etc. I just had to make 36 edits to the tasks because I could only edit a maximum of 100 tasks at a time and only make one change per edit (it the same tasks don't stay selected for me to edit priority, and then assignee, etc). HUGE loss of functionality with the new tasks and it's a REAL pain.
Could you please publish your feedback as an idea post in Ideas Forum? This is a great platform for communicating feature requests to our Product Team and it also allows other users to vote on and comment on the idea. As a result, it helps the team better prioritize features that are having the greatest impact on our users.
Thank you again for taking your time to share your feedback.
It is extreamly helping when doing large quanities of tasks with the same email. Rather than updating a single contact title each time you send an email, I would do it at the end and mass update them at one time. It took me almost 3X as long to get through tasks this AM without the title feature. Extreamly inefficent when using a service that is meant to provide convenience.
