'You have been made the ticket owner'

SOLVE

...I know I have been made the ticket owner, because I made myself the ticket owner!!!

 

How do I turn off this really annoying email notification? My inbox is full of them.

Hi @RAdams6,

 

You can deactivate these notifications. Click the settings icon and select Notifications in the left sidebar. Scroll down to Tickets, expand it and uncheck "Ticket assigned to you":

Hey @RAdams6

 

You're half way there. It looks like you've updated the notification of the Ticket being assigned to you, however, the notification you're getting is actually about a Contact being assigned to you. These notifications are being managed separately.

You're half way there. It looks like you've updated the notification of the Ticket being assigned to you, however, the notification you're getting is actually about a Contact being assigned to you. These notifications are being managed separately.

I'm not sure who accepted this as a correct answer but it hasn't worked for.

 

I have change dthe recommended setting and I am still getting bombarded with emails telling me information I already know.

SOLVE

This did not work for me as I have had Tickets > Notification Topics > Ticket assigned to you (Get notified when a ticket is assigned to you) unselected for a many a moon, but still get notifications like the following, when I too assigned them to myself:
