Write-back permissions for LinkedIn Sales Navigator inMail

Starting from HubSpot contact, match with LSN member and select LSN inMail message button. At the bottom of the inMail form is a check box that offers option of recording the outreach in HubSpot. It’s grayed-out because CRM write-back permissions in HubSpot haven’t been set. Where I do set this permission?
I found this post which was pretty helpful in understanding the situation. If I were to summarize the post it says this feature is intentionaly turned off. I then found this article from LinkedIn which explains they only allow write-back for certain types data and even then only for certain CRM's.
I work on a product in this space, LinkedHub. Using native HubSpot is, of course, the ideal situation. But if you don't find a native solution you might give us a try.
