Workflow to alert when no meetings exist for a period of time

How can I check to see if a company doesn't have an associated meeting for a period of 6 months?

 

I want to ensure my sales team is meeting with customers regularly, and when they haven't I want to notify them that they need to do that.

Hi @pille,

 

Here's what you would do:

  1. Create a company based list of companies associated to a meeting within your desired time frame

  2. Create a company-based workflows which enrolls companies 'When an event occurs' > select the list from step 1 > 'is removed from list'
  3. Add an action for an internal email notification to the company owner as the next and only workflow step

Keep in mind that this would enroll all companies where there has never been any meeting. You might want to limit enrollment to companies of a certain lifecycle stage, lead status, etc.

@pille please change the trigger type to: When filter criteria is met > List membership

 

Otherwise existing list members will not be enrolled.

Thanks for the quick answer!

 

Ok, so if they met within 180 days, they're in the list, workflow keys off them being removed from the list when their meeting date is outside of 180 days.

 

However, if I create this list it will never include companies with meetings outside of 180 days so we will never get alerted about them since they won't be added to the list and then removed.

 

Is there a way to do the opposite? 

Is there a last meeting date somewhere? I can't find it.

@pille in that case, simply create another company list that contains all companies which are not on the first list. You can use membership in that list as reenrolment criterion for the workflow (When filter criteria is met > List membership). This would then catch all companies who have never had a meeting and those where it's been too long.

Thanks. Learn something everyday 🙂

 

I'm finding that the list I made doesn't include a company, but the workflow tests positive for that company.

 

Here's my condition. I used 'added to list'. However, again, the company isn't in the list, but when I test workflow for a company not in the list, it says they would enroll. 


Am I missing something?
