I have a multiple checkboxes property say 'Interest' with different values, now I have some values that are outdated so I want all the contacts with value A to have value B instead. So let's say instead of "Sports" I want to transfer it to a new value "Sports & outdoor".
My concern is that a lot of contacts have different values for this property. If I set up a workflow to replace a property value from one property to another, do all the other values disappear then?
I hope it's clear. Thank you in advance for sharing your insights.
Plus one from me on @karstenkoehler's suggestion. Alternatively, of you already have the new options and these have values you can also merge property options in the property settings, at least for drop-down properties that's possible.

In the settings of your multiple checkboxes property, you could simply rename "Sports" into "Sports & outdoor", and it would be updated on all records that currently hold this value, without replacing or removing anything.
