When a deal closes send internal email outlining all line items associated with a deal

SOLVE

Hello!  I have an interesting dilema.  When a deal is closed I want to send automation of an internal email with a table showing all the line items - the functionality available for surfacing line item information in an internal email is

  • most recently updated
  • most recently created
  • first created
  • most recently associated
  • first associated

however I have deals with up to 8 line items and cannot figure out how to surface this.  Anyone got any bright work around ideas?

Thanks guys (sales pro subscription)

Hi @SueFell6,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I see you've been working with our support team and have already received the most up-to-date information. I’m sharing it here for reference in case anyone else has the same question.

Currently, this is working as designed. When trying to add Line Item properties, it will only include the name of the first and last created line item.

As an alternative, you could use a report that shows all line items associated with a deal and send this report via email. However, this method may not send information about a specific deal unless the filters are refined each time. Another approach could be to gather all deals from a specific owner and send that report.

Additionally, let’s invite some of our experts to join this conversation to see if they have managed to achieve something similar.

Hi @Lucila-Andimol, @Gilempert, @JuanGomez0818, @LautaroDelPlato - Could you share any insights or solutions if you’ve found any for similar situations?

Thanks 🙂

Best,

Diana

When a deal closes send internal email outlining all line items associated with a deal

Hi Diana

Thanks so much for your reply.  I have managed to solve the situation by integrating Portant into  the HubSpot Portal.  Portant allows me to create a google doc, a word doc or a pdf containing any property including line items and product information from the HubSpot Portal.

So I created a workflow on deal close that produced a pdf with all the relevant information and emailed it directly to the contracts team - its cool!

Thanks

Cheers

Sue
