When I complete activty on contact wil that also reflect on the company

I am callling people and sending emails to "contacts". AND I am working from a company list. Will the activity at the contact level show up as "Last Activity" in the company list? if not how can this get simplified?

When I create a new deal, or a new contact, it doesnt automatically check the "associate" checkbox. 

By default it only associates with itself, even though the deal/contact is connected to a specific company. 

How to auto-associate?

Hi @JRGies,

I tested this within my own HubSpot account and the task did indeed post to both the record and company record. When you are creating tasks manually on the record, via workflows, or via bulk edit, it will auto associate with the contact record and company records. You would have to manually go in and choose to unassociate the task from the company record. So you should be good!
