WhatsApp contact error: 'not using WhatsApp'

Hi, 

I recently got a few errors in my worklfow saying that: 

  • The contact's WhatsApp phone number is not using WhatsApp or they are using an older version of WhatsApp. To receive messages from you, this contact needs to sign up to WhatsApp or use the latest version of WhatsApp.

I checked with the contacts but they are using the latest version of WhatsApp. 

 

Does somebody know the solution to this problem?

Hi @LSlooten ,

While you mentioned that the contacts are using the latest version of WhatsApp, double-check to confirm that they have indeed updated to the most recent version. Sometimes, even small updates can impact compatibility.
Also check the limit of the WA messages. A limit of 1000 conversations per month is shared by all your connected WhatsApp business accounts. The day of the month that the limit resets depends on the date you first purchased a Marketing Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription. For example, if your subscription began on October 28, the limit will reset on the 28th of each month.

Thanks for your reply @DSharma02 ,

 

I double checked with the contacts and even uninstalled WhatsApp. Unfortunately it still didn't work after reinstalling. I also checked our subscribition and we have a lot of conversations left.

Ohh ok. Then better to reach HubSpot support becasue they can check at the backened if any technical glitch is there @LSlooten
