I received an email from HubSpot today that told me how to create forms. But not what they are good for and how I get them to potential clients and how I should do that?
So my questions are:
1. What are forms good for?
2. Where and how do I get them to potential clients?
Forms are on website pages, landing pages, and blog posts pages. For example, here is a landing page on our website. Website visitors are directed to that page when they are reading this page. They click the big blue button at the top of the page to get there. This is called a CTA or call to action.
Pop-ups are also a way to use a form in HubSpot, but not the only way to use forms.

Really they are a way to capture and qualify data. You can use them in a ton of different ways.
We use them on our site for a few different use cases...
-Contact Us form
-Support form
-Demo requests
-Webinar registration forms
Anytime you want someone to fill information in and have it funnel directly into HubSpot. These also can then be leveraged in workflow and business process.
Forms are used as a way for you to convert website visitors into leads. Instead of just reading your content, they can complete a form to do things like request more information, download an ebook, subscribe to an email, etc.
You can find forms under the "Marketing" dropdown then hover over "Lead Capture".
I hope that helps!
