We are a small UK based audio visual systems integrator at around 20 people.
Currently, we use the free subscription version of HubSpot.
For some time now, we have used the Exclaimer Office 365 email signature management tool, to add email signatures to all our outbound Outlook emails. I am sure the use of these 3rd party email signature applications is very common today.
To deliver a consistent signature across all our outbound emails, we recently tried to use the Exclaimer signature app with HubSpot.
Firstly, we deleted the HubSpot email signature, which we had previously created and had been using.
The Exclaimer application does indeed add our 'designer/branded signature' and it seems to work ok, however the emails 'sent' from HubSpot still seem to pick up and add to the sent email, some elements of the (now deleted) HubSpot email signature.
When viewed by the email recipient, these elements look unprofessional, and we want to remove them.
The screenshot below precisely shows the elements we need to remove from the sent HubSpot emails.
If you have experience of using 3rd party email signature clients with HubSpot and have resolved similar issues, please let me know how we can remove these unwanted elements and get on with the rest of our lives! 🙂
One of the pitfalls of using free software is that most include provider branding/advertising. Upgrade to the Starter Customer Platform, which is cheap enough at $15/seat , and the HubSpot branding goes away.

I work for Opensense, and we have over 100 customers who use Opensense email signatures with HubSpot. Our integration allows for centralized management of email signatures that work on all emails, including in sequences. It even allows for users to manage some of the fields if they need to. In addition, with Opensense, you can apply banners beneath the signature that can be targted based on a contact property (we do a lot here for existing customers vs. prospects.). We're also US based, so, support is local and expedient. Please give us a look if you're interested.

Using third party email signature applications.
lösung
I do have one further question around the use of third party email signature apps.
We are using Exclaimer.
When I send an email from HubSpot, the Exclaimer app adds our agreed corporate signature to the outbound HubSpot email.
However, while doing so, it looks like it is 'opening' the outbound email, in order to add the signature. Of course this means that I get a HubSpot notification that the email has been opened!!! Which messes with my ability to understand when one of my emails is 'actually' opened by the recipient.
Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix or a work around please?

It's a great tool for creating, managing, and deploying email signatures. It integrates directly with O365 via Entra ID and is really powerful to create high-quality signature designs.
Hello, I am just a user on our companies' network. I have worked with our IT manager to resolve an issue where we wanted to use Exclaimer rather than the HubSpot email signature creator - and it works fine. I know that our IT folks had to wait for Exclaimer support - so that's really the only criticism we have I think.
