Using first name and Last name instead of Name column in contacts page

Hello,

The hubspot contacts page displays the contacts with NAME column as the first Column. I want to use First name and last name in the contacts instead of NAME column. Is there a way to remove the NAME column from contacts and use first name and last name instead.

Any plans to make the fixed Name column optional? It is so painful to not be able to sort contact lists by Last Name, first. Adding a Last Name column to sort by is not a good workaround. It's redundant and pushes necessary info to the side so it's harder to view. I see this question asked in the Community a lot and that people have been asking it for years. Super weird it isn't optional yet. Thanks!

Hi @AEleftheriou,

The name column is fixed, it cannot be removed. You can add the first and last name in addition to it but not instead of it.

Hi, Is there a fast way to overwrite the name column (which contains rubbish data or is empty) with the contents of a different column ("contact name")? Given I cant remove "Name" that seems like the next best thing
