Brand new to Hubspot and CRM tools. Just purchased a subscription to the Starter Customer platform. All I want to do is track my investor outreach from my outlook for desktop client. Pretty simple but don't know where to begin since Hubspot offers so many different features.
Start with the HubSpot sales extension for desktop. While it is no longer being optimized this would still allow you to track outreach. I would consider moving over to the 365 web version for a more robust extension offering.
Thanks so much, but I am really of two minds on what to do. On the one hand I am now paying $20 per month for Hubspot so really want the integration to work as well as possible. But on the other hand, I use the older outlook 365 for windows and NOT the newer outlook 365 for windows because the newer one had problems with my having 5 different email addresses and inboxes. So that's at least good, given what you wrote. But you are also saying that to get the BEST out of the Hubspot integration I should move to outlook for web which has all kinds of other tradeoffs, so I am really at a loss. It seams like these different companies - MSFT and Hubspot do not upgrade their platforms with each other in mind, and the end user is the one who suffers. Thank you for your kind help though.
