I have the strangest problem - I have a user who can't see their deals under the deal view page. I tracked the issue to the teams - I recently created a new team and moved that user there.
I did a test and moved this user to another team, and then logged in as them and could see the deals. Once I moved them back to the original team, the deals were not visible. I even tried deleting the team and creating a new one, but that didn't make a difference.
Is there something I am missing? This user has the same license and permissions as another user in a similar team, so it's not a user permissions issue. Is there a team permission? I actually created all teams myself, so not sure why one team seems to not be working. I will mention that there is currently only the one user in that team, in case that matters.
I found the issue with the help of another slaesops person - the pipeline was not assigned to the team. That's why when he was in another team, he could see his deals but didn't have access when in his original team.
When I log in as the user, even looking at the deal view "My deals" when the only filter is "Deal owner = Me", I see this:
When I move this user to another team, I can see their deals in the deals view when logging in as them.
Following your 2nd point, the user has permission to view and edit deals.
I'm fairly positive the issue is the team. The user told me the issue started only after I moved them teams, and as I said - when I move them to another team, everything seems to work.
Yes there are deals assigned to this user. When I move the user to another team they can actually see those deals in the list view. Otherwise the user needs to search for the company and find the deal under it.
As for the record access, I followed the instructions - when going to a deal I can see the user has access (I checked a deal they owned and a deal they don't own). It says "can view, edit, and delete this deal."
@TShemesh8 can you please share a full screenshot of the deal list view?
If the user can view the deal via other paths, and if the access check states they can access the deal, this is most likely related to the filtered view.
