Use associated records in advanced formula in calculated property

SOLVE

@Shuler okay - in my testing, when using a Custom Calcuation, I only see properties from the same object.

When I search for those Company properties in my initial example, they aren't available. So that tells me that it's not currently possible to use cross-object properties in that specific area.

@Shuler when you say advanced formula, I don't see that verbirage exactly. Are you talking about creating a "custom equation"?

Or is there a different type of calculated property you're working on?

Hey @Shuler, thank you for posting in our Community!

Certainly! In HubSpot, you can indeed reference data from associated records using calculated properties. Calculated properties allow you to perform calculations or concatenate data from multiple properties, including properties from associated records. (More information here

I want to invite our top experts to this conversation @danmoyle, @Josh , @Aakar any recommendations for the @Shuler matter?

Thank you,

Use associated records in advanced formula in calculated property

SOLVE

Hi Pam,

The question was in the custom equation option. There doesn't appear to be a current option to use associated records in the custom calculation area. All options that are available are only from that exact object.
