Upload data to a new property in companies

I have missed of a property in the companies section.  I have created the new property and it appears in the columns for the company - great. However, how do I then upload the data in bulk to that property and ensure it is associated with that relavent company?

I tried just uploading the compny name and the new property data but it just created a duplicate company with just the new property and did not merge with the existing company.

Any suggestions graefully received.

HubSpot uses the company domain or website properties for deduplication - so your upload will have to include either of those, along with the new data, to avoid the creation of duplicate companies.
