Unable to delete a Property

SOLVE

We are using a free version of HubSpot. I have full admin privileges. I can't add any new Properties because it says we are using 10 out of 10 of our custom Properties.

However, when I filter our Properties, I only see 8 listed: 4 were created by our users and 4 created by "Unknown User" and these are the 4 I am trying to archive. When I go to archive them, I get the message: "There was a problem archiving this property. Please refesh page and try again."

These 4 properties are all related to Zoom (see attached image). So why can't I delete them and why am I only seeing 8 Properties that aren't created by HubSpot and yet it is telling me we have used 10 out of 10 available??

Unable to delete a Property

Hi @JHelmstaedt,

Is the Zoom integration still active? If so, that explains why you're not able to delete them.

Regarding the count of properties, keep in mind that the limit is accounted across objects (not only contacts, but also companies, deals etc).

Lastly, in the past there were cases of HubSpot counting the total number of properties created, not necessarily the number of properties still being active.

Best regards!

Hi @JHelmstaedt ,

The free version of HubSpot allows only 10 custom properties total across your entire account, not per object (like Contacts, Companies, Deals, etc.). This limit includes properties created manually and also those created automatically by integrations (like Zoom).

If you're only seeing 8 properties under Contacts, it's possible the remaining ones are tied to other objects. Be sure to check custom properties under all object types in your property settings.

Regarding Zoom-related properties:
If you're no longer using the Zoom integration, try uninstalling it by going to:  Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps, then revisit the properties and try archiving them again.

Hope this helps!
