URGENT - Problems with Workflow

SOLVE

Good afternoon everyone! How are you? I'm Julio, Sales Ops at a financial market company in Brazil.

I accidentally inserted numerous deals into a workflow, and this has caused a big issue in our CRM. In total, more than 2400 deals went through the process again, creating a tremendous issue.

I need some way to "undo" this action. Can you help me figure out how to do this?

I tried getting help from support, but I couldn't solve the problem.

This is very important!!

URGENT - Problems with Workflow

SOLVE

Hi @jdlcdv,

There is no way to automatically go back to before enrollment. If HubSpot support told you the same thing then it's because it's true. There is no reverse or undo option.

The workflow interface is not in English but it looks like a lot of actions update property values.

Your best option is to export historical property values and reimport the previous ones. This is explained here: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Tips-Tricks-Best-Practices/Reverting-Bulk-Property-Changes-by-Impor...

Youll have to do this property by property, and yes, it will very likely take many hours to complete.

I've used HubSpot for a decade and I'm not aware of a faster solution. This is with very high likelihood your best option.

Some actions, like the Google Sheet, cannot be reversed from HubSpot's side at all. You could consider going back in Google sheet version history.

Good luck!

URGENT - Problems with Workflow

Hi @jdlcdv,

Happy to help here. Can you please share a screenshot of the entire workflow? This is crucial to understanding which changes have been made.

I'll also give you the bad news: There is no undo-button. We'll have to get an understanding of what happened and very likely painstakingly restore the previous state, if possible.

Thanks for the atention @karstenkoehler !!

There are 50 "steps" in the workflow. I've printed a few. They are attached. How to restore to the previeous state?Captura de Tela 2023-11-29 às 17.38.33.pngCaptura de Tela 2023-11-29 às 17.38.27.pngCaptura de Tela 2023-11-29 às 17.38.09.png

Thanks again @karstenkoehler

Yes, I was reading this article that you've sugested and probably is the only option.

If HubSpot had this "undo" option in cases like these, it would be perfect.
