Trouble with filters - "activity assigned to has never been any of" not working?

Résolue

Hello!

I'm trying to create a list where I identify leads that need followed up with after prospecting.

These are all company records as we don't have names yet and are looking to get more information throughout the sales process.

The lead changes hands once an initial background research call has been made. I'm trying to create a list that shows people who have already had a task (the research call) completed, but never had a follow up assigned. Ideally, as the list gets populated, I can clear it by assigning follow-up tasks to the second user (me).

Specifics:

Leads (companies) are marked as ready for follow up by assigning a lead status of: "Sales Ready"

I'm simply trying to view a list where 1) the status is "sales ready" and nothing else

2) they have not been reached out to by a specific user (this is managed through a task)

The following criteria is not working and I have no idea why - it returns anyone who is "sales ready" and completely ignores my second criteria.

This would all be better managed through a workflow, but sadly that's not an option. We're stuck on "starter" for now.

Any help/tips are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi @Cramblin,

The second part of your filters is doing something slightly different than what you're expecting: HubSpot is checking whether there's at least one activity that was never assigned to the user that you blurred out, not whether all activites have never been assigned to them. As long as there's one activity not assigned to the user, the criterion will check true.

Usually I work around this by creating a separate list that filters all contacts that are associated with an activity that is assigned to the blurred out user. This will get all contacts that have ever had this specific follow-up activity.

In your original list, you can then state the contact should not be a member of this second list: If their not on the second list, they cannot have had the follow-up activity.

Let me know if I should elabore further. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much Karsten - this did it!

For future searchers (if anyone else struggles w/ this filter) I made a list called

"Initial outreach completed" where activity assigned to that record "has ever been equal to" and then the follow-up person's name and then set my same initial criteria but this time making sure they aren't a member of the list of people who have already (ever) had a task assigned to our follow up person.
