Tracking contact job changes

Edyta7510
Guide

Hey,

How do you guys scale tracking of contact job changes?

- people who left the company

- people who changed job/function within the current company

Contact owners shoudl be the key source of this info, but - let's put it this way: this is very often not their key priority.

Anyone who found any workarounds, possible integrations with LinkedIn?

Thanks

Edyta

You can try LeverGrow on HubSpot marketplace.

Both usecases are covered by our product.

Hi,

You can use Pronto to track that and set some alerts (of your choice) then sync it to your CRM if needed.

You can use Kavo to do this! With Kavo, you can:

  • Automatically detect job changes for all contacts at scale
  • Enrich contact and company data
  • Set ICP filters to only get notified of relevant changes
  • Automatically add records to HubSpot and automate next steps like adding to a sequence

This helps our users boost pipeline and revenue, keep their HubSpot data clean, and save time and resources 😊

Thanks for the mention @kvlschaefer

Hey @Edyta7510 using Data Activation Platforms such as Clearbit, 6Sense, Rollworks (...) work like a charm.

Since those type of solutions don't fit all operations (€€€) you could try to think about using side-pop surveys (similar to pop-ups but you use cookies to match with the contact data instead of constantly asking for name/email). This "trick" works quite well to update single data points since it's ways easier to get engagement from those specific contacts.

Example: You create an active list that checks who are contacts that don't have the property updated in the last 9 months. That list would be use to target those side-pops and than something simple as "Hey [first name], are you still working for [company name] as [job title]" if "yes" it should be on hold for the next X months if "no" you should ask what changed.

Hope it helps 🙂

Hey @jforte ,

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, we're in a very niche industry ( Telecoms) and already tested solutions like RollWorks, which are not able to match/target our accounts/contacts.

Regarding your workaround solution, do you have any experience seeing results/responses from such side-pop surveys?

Thanks

Edyta

Regarding your experince I also liked RollWorks (usability) but went for 6Sense mostly because of their data (in their sales process you're able to request a sample research and they are able to show what they can get from those visitors/active searches/etc).

Regarding the side-pop surveys we're using it for content related surveys - mostly for community members or newsletter subscribers but work WAAAY better than sending a 10min survey or any type of data collection using forms.

We use Mutiny for this but I saw that Hubspot has now a similar option on CTAs
