I'm new to HubSpot. Apparently the company previously tried using HubSpot and found it too intrusive. We use gmail and all emails were being stored in our CRM. Is there now an option to continue using gmail and just 'check' any emails we want to show within our CRM?
If you're working out of Gmail inbox, once you have HubSpot connected, make the following changes:
1. In your Gmail inbox, click the orange HubSpot sprocket to open the Settings menu. (tip: the "green light" means everything is connected and working)
2. Select Log and track settings and turn toggle these buttons OFF (as shown above).
3. With these settings OFF- when you compose a new email, the email will not automatically logged or tracked...unless...
4. ...you manually check the logging and tracking back on:
