When we're communicating with a company ABC, all email, calls, etc. are tracked against company ABC. We sometimes use company XYZ and jointly market to company ABC. 

When I send emails to John@XYZ.com, I want the emails to be tracked against John and also have a way to link them to company ABC (where we are jointly focussed).

Likewise, when I make a note after a phone call with John (@XYZ), then I'd like to be able to LOG ACTIVITY > CALL on the timeline of both John (@XYZ) as well as company ABC.

Is there anyway to do this within HubSpot?

Hi @jayg I'm a bit confused here:

We sometimes use company XYZ and jointly market to company ABC. 

 Are John@XYZ and Company XYZ listed in your companies and contacts? And are all these engagements being tracked within a specific deal? If so you can link them all together by associated the company and cotact through the deal. Find out more about associating activites with a specific contact, company, or deal record here.
