Hello, This is sort of a two part problem that we are trying to fix. We have an integration with our financial app that will allows syncs between the two. We want to make a logic where once the financial app syncs to the deal users can no longer edit the deal (edit start date, duration, Engagement type since this may change the revenue. We understand we can not lock these fields but would like to use a logic that if the start date field is updated after the Financials field has been synced then users can not close the deal.I understand we can do a logic for property fields but is it a way to create a timestamp field to see anytime the start date was changed? Or would this have to be a workflow we create? Essentially we also wnat to use these fields to track how many changes are being made within deals?
@CClark3 you would have to set up date properties and workflows that document when start date, duration, and deal type were updated – once you have those, you could set up a calculation property that checks whether these dates were updated before your financial approval date was updated.

Is it anyway to get the field histroy to show top copy over in its own field? Essentially we would like to create a calculation field that comes back true when start date, duration, and deal type were updated before the financials were approved(Which is a field that is synced from our finances app)
