How do I create a report to show the time from contact assignment to completion of a connected call? The lead response time shows the time from assignment to first activity but I want to know how long it is taking to actually speak with a new contact.

Don't know how the visualization would work (table or whatever) or if you'd have to settle for averages (which doesn't help if you're trying to do exception reporting).
You could possibly stamp the time of assignment on a custom property and then stamp the time the call outcome was filled in onto another property and then possibly use calculated properties to get the time in between.
