Time Zone not correct in automatic emails

SOLVE

When our reps book a meeting and have the email automatically sent to remind the prospect about the meeting, it is sending an incorrect time. I believe it is related to daylight savings as it seems to be exactly 1 hour off.

We are located in Arizona, so the default time zone is set to pheonix (UTC -7). The meeting was scheduled for 1:30PM our time.

The customer is located in Texas, which right now is UTC - 5, so they had the meeting on their calender at 3:30PM their time. They recieved an automated hubspot email telling them that the meeting was at 2:30 CST (-06:00)

"This is a friendly reminder that we have a meeting booked on:
Aug 22, 2024 2:30 PM CST (-06:00)"

It should be 3:30 CDT. Is there a daylight savings option somewhere that I am missing?

Time Zone not correct in automatic emails

@JLegere it's based on the timezone that was set by their browser when they booked the call - if the browser detected CST, then that's what time shows, not CDT. Depending on how long ago they booked the meeting that could potentially have an impact, but most likely their browser is set to the wrong time zone.

This is a reminder I had from today that shows EDT based on the recipients time zone:

There is an option when they book the meeting to correct the time zone if their browser didn't detect the right one:
