Team getting kicked out due to inactivity

SOLVE

Hello! I just set up Hubspot (free for now) CRM for my team and they get constantly kicked out due to inactivity (multiple times a day).

There's a solution within Hubspot knowledge base but I DO NOT see those options in my portal. I reached out to their sales chat and they suggested that I post this on the community.

So far, customer service has been awful.

This is from their knowledge base (doesn't show up on my account):
In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.

  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Security Settings & Activity
  • Under Session Timeout, click the Inactive Session Timeout Value dropdown menu to select the amount of time an account must be inactive before the user is logged out.

Any ideas on how to solve this? I can't ask them to log in 20 times a day.

Hi @Gaston88 , The Inactive Session Timeout Value isn't avaibale to you becaue you don't have a paid account:

To avail this feature,  you might need to consider upgrading to a paid plan.

Workaround:
Encourage your team to perform any activities regularly to prevent being logged out. Like refreshing the dashboard, opening CRM record, or perform any minor activity to keep the session active.

Adjust the browser settings so that it does not clear cookies frequently and retain session cookies for longer periods.

SOLVE

Thank you for taking the time to reply and for confirming my doubts.

 

Hubspot free is basically useless, even if it's for testing purposes. I'd never switch to a paid plan if the free one forces my team to sign in every 15 minutes. Think about calling a customer, spending 20 minutes on the phone with them and when you want to manually log in the activity you're kicked out of the account.
