Tasks Not Updating Last Activity Date

We noticed today that tasks associated with a Deal are not updating the Last Activity Date.

I noticed the task updated Next Activity Date. I thought completing the task may update Last Activity Date but still no succes.

Did something change and the documentation wasn't updated?

We noticed today that tasks associated with a Deal are not updating the Last Activity Date. The definition for Last Activity Date on the Deals Default Property KB article specifically mentions a logged deal: HubSpot Default Deal Properties. I noticed the task updated the Next Activity Date. I thought completing the task might update the Last Activity Date, but still no success. Did something change, and the documentation wasn't updated?

Tasks Not Updating Last Activity Date

Hi @TWallen ,

I guess the "Last Activity Date" is defined as the date of the most recent interaction logged on the record, such as an email, call, meeting, or note. Task completion does not typically update the "Last Activity Date" by default. Try changing date of task and see if its changing anything in the  "Last Activity Date" property.

@DSharma02 Thanks for your response. However, I am not sure where you are getting your information that tasks are not included in the Last Activity Date.

It's literally in the Property Description provided by HubSpot.
