Oh, so we're not talking about a contact record in HubSpot. We're talking about holding a phone close to a badge to either scan a QR code or read a RFID chip – this would open the contact information on the phone which should the be passed into HubSpot?
As far as I understand, for a 'holding phone near a badge' solution, a RFID chip would be required. And that means a vendor of these kinds solutions. It wouldn't be enough to simply print out badges.
In the case of a QR code, it would probably involve some of this and the HubSpot Google contacts sync, for example, to get the contacts into HubSpot.

Just to clarify on your requirements: the idea is that a user would navigate to a contact record in HubSpot and click something so that this contact's information is passed on to the address book of a mobile device? Is the expectation here that this works for one user or for dynamically for all users?
Best regards

I think I would like the opposite. Someone approaches me and i want their contact info to move wirelessly from their device to my device, hoping that when it gets into my device it is stored in hubspot. I hope this clears it up?
Yes, it's clear, thank you. As I wrote above, I'm not familiar with setting up these kinds of capabilities of mobile devices. I'd recommend reaching out to Android or iOS web developers or managers of events you know used this technology.

The ideal situation would be that a person comes up to a tablet at a conference and just holds their phone close to the tablet, almost like Apple Pay, and their contact card trnsfers from their phone to the tablet, Then to take it one step further, the app that allows that transfer to happen can some how provide a seemless upload/transfer into hubspot?
I don't want to speak for Chris, but we talked today about this. I envision it like how at conferences you can tap badges (or other tools, phones, etc.) to exchange contact information. Then you can either upload it to HubSpot, or put it into a spreadhseet to upload, cutting down of manual input (and even scanning business cards).
I know INBOUND2022 had some kind of badge bump. Not sure what happened after that.
