Syncing activity from Deals to associated Contact

Hi, 

When I log emails or calls in a contact, they transfer to the associated deal activirty, but not the other way around. Emails and calls logged on a deal don't sync to the associated contact. Is there any way to change this?

This is expected behavior, you can find the rules for automatic association here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/associate-activities-with-records

You would have to manually associate the activity with the contact record, as explained further down in that article.

Is there any way to make it so it does it automatically?

Hi @RZia,

When you compose an email (either in the CRM or using the sales extensions), you can choose which records to associate the email with. That's what I'd recommend.

Outside of that, it's not possible in HubSpot natively, it would require custom development or an integration to an automation platform that covers this functionality.
