Stumped: using Snippets in Text Fields

Hi. I have been playing around trying to find a solution for hours, but am stumped. FYI I am on Sales Starter.

I have multi tier pricing to my customers, based on their location and other demographics.  I provide them with a quote, and have about 12 different Templates with different prices that I select and then send individually.

This is a chore.

So what I wanted to do is to do my quotes for the day, and then send them out using the Marketing Email function. But for that to work I'd need to create a field with the quote pricing information in. Simple! Not.  I first tried multiple checkboxes so that I could just select the product and pirce, but because it doesnt display enough info, I don't know which option I am selecting, so that's not a goer.

So my next options were either Multi Line Text or RIch Text, and to put the salient info in there, and then add that field as a personalisation in the email i want to send.  To populate those fields I created some test snippets with the block of text I wanted in my quote, and that would be it all sorted.

But guess what? Snippets don't work in either of those fields. So what's my solution?

Actually, in typing this I may have given myself an idea... which is to  use a Zap - triggered when a field is set to a value to do a lookup whiich then populates another field that is then merged. Scruffy but may work.

Does anyone have  a neater solution?

Stumped: using Snippets in Text Fields

Hey @Wackywheelers 👋 Thanks for your question. I have a feeling this is a tough one to solve, so give yourself some credit for finding a workaround. Did you get a chance to test out the Zap you mentioned? — Jaycee
