Sorting tasks by time zones

Still no way to sort tasks based on time zone? This is immensely important to salespeople calling into multiple time zones, as it gives clarity and structure to a day of calling. I hate having to click through all of my tasks just to find someone who I can actually call at that time. I feel like it can't be that hard to add this as a filter.

Thanks @edjusten. Please let me know if there are any updates. I really do think this function would be a huge time saver, and help to make the tasks feel more organized in general.

I have the same concern. Our client base is spread across North America and it would help me to be able to organize my tasks and day by timezone so I can call those on East coast first... etc.

This is a concern that I recently ran into. It's imperitive that salespeople can sort their tasks and calls by timezone or state. Especially tasks that are in workflows and sequences. 

 

Specifically I work in California and start my work day at 7 AM. This is the perfect time to call east coast, but much too early to be calling west coast. It's a hassle for me to click into each individual task to see where they are located.

So while this is not the perfect solution, I have created a manual work around that takes a little bit to set up, but allows you to sort tasks by time zone once completed. Took me about 30 minutes to modify all my existing sequences (around 25) and they all function the way we would like them to, just gotta invest the time up front to accomplish this, but after that I saved SO MUCH TIME.

 

Go to Sales > Tasks > Add A Queue. Create a East, Central, Mountain, and Pacific queue, or any other time zones you might be calling if international. 

 

Then go to Sequences. Create/clone a sequence for each time zone you work with. When adding tasks to the sequence there is a queue option where you are able to place them into a desired queue, select the corresponding task queue you want and save.

 

Simply make sure you are using the right sequence that matches their region, then when you are using the tasks feature simply choose which queue/region you want to call from and go from there. 

 

Boom. Done. Like I said, takes some work upfront but it does what we want it to do.
