Hi! We have got multple websites with external WordPress forms and sometime existing leads fill a new form on a different website even though they have already submitted one some time ago.
I want to setup slack notifications for that SECOND and further form submission. Right now I only now how to setup a slack notification for any form submission. How can I solve this?
It would have to be the left branch. Upon first enrollment, the contact would go down the right branch, nothing happens. Upon second, third, fourth enrollment, the contact goes down the left path, the notification is sent and limited to one notification per 24 hours.

Another way to solve this would be to use the property, Number of Form Submissions. It's a default property provided by hubspot and it increments by the count of 1 everytime a contact submits a form. Using a filter 'Number of Form Submissions > 1' should idetify contacts with second and subsequent submissions.
We've used this property to trigger notifications for subsequent form submissions by the same prospect at trysidekick.com
Happy to dive deeper and talk through the implementation if this is helpful.
Yes, I am using a workflow for that BUT I do not want a slack notification to pop up for the first form submission. Now I use a filter - Contat owner is known AND Form submission has been filled but that gives me slack messages for the first form submission which is how contacts are created in HS and we are already notified about them through the INBOX. Any idea how to solve this?
Oh man this is awesome! I did not even know there is a feature like that. I implemented it BUt there is another issue.
We usually (more than 50% of leads) have multiple form submissions because our form plugin registers false positives as well. So a lead puts in theit data and presses send BUT some info is incorrect e.g. incorrect email and they get an error, and the lead fills it in again and presses send again. We then get 2 form submission on one day.
Can I add somehow a delay into the workflow? Like check if the initial form submissions (can be even 3-4) are on the same day. If not, send a notification.
Glad I can help 🙂 If it's solving your original query, please accept it as a solution. It helps other community members and supports me.
Regarding your second question: If the email address is different, then unfortunately no. HubSpot will most likely register these contacts as separate records then and treat them as different people.
If the email address the same, you could "block" re-enrollment by simply adding a 1 day delay at the end of the workflow. Contacts can't re-enroll before they complete the workflow (including delays). This would mean a notification is sent for the first submission, not subsequent ones within the next 1 day.
Best regards!
