While it's not recommended, you can create loops by setting up two workflows:
1. (Re-)enrol contacts in a workflow 1 based on membership in a static list
2. Create the task
3. Remove contact from static list
4. Enroll contact in workflow 2
5. Delay contact in workflow 2 by desired interval
6. Add contact to static list (thus triggering step 1 again)
This doesn't work well with months (as the interval is not exactly 30 days), unfortunately. Days, weeks and years are not an issue.
A recurring task feature for workflows would still be a good idea and valid request. I'd recommend posting in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community. The product team reviews these requests based on their popularity.
