Set a custom field to read-only

we need to import some custom fields from an Excel file.

Is it possible to make a certain custom field read-only?

Can this be done with the Free or Professional license?

Thank you for your answer.
Purchasing an Enterprise license to make a field read-only seems absurd to me.
This should be a basic feature available at least in the Professional edition.

This will probably influence our choice to switch to HubSpot 😞
