this is Antonio and thank you for your time helping me.
Basically I was looking for a way to set correctly my hubpost crm since I'm basically stuck.
Some global information:
Contex: I have a restaurant and I want to know my costumer better
Goal: I want to track conversion (when a costumer visit my store) on hubspot. Basically: "if costumer (already inside my crm) visit a webpage than track the conversion)
Data in my posses
1. On each table there is a digital menu (Unique Qrcode on the tables) that bring costumer to my webpage (You can see my menu here: Menu )
2. My website is made with wordpress, so I've installed the "hubpost" plugin inside
3. I have different methods to track and automatically upload customers contact information, so skip that part
Note: Of course i want to track user information (and conversion) after the customer data ends up on the crm.
I remember doing it during my last setup I even faced the same problem, I'm sharing the detailed view that a person gave me, hope it works for you
To track conversions from your website visitors. Based on the information, you have installed the HubSpot tracking code on your WordPress website and connected your HubSpot account you will need to create a custom event in HubSpot that triggers when a visitor scans the QR code on your table and lands on your menu page. Once you have created your custom event, you can use it to track conversions from your website visitors You can filter your report by various dimensions, such as the contact owner, source, or lifecycle stage. To create a custom report in HubSpot, follow these steps: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reports > Reports. In the upper right, click Create Custom Report. Select Single object report, and choose Contact as the object type. Click Next. In the report builder, drag and drop the metrics you want to measure, such as Contacts created, Customers, and Viewed menu page (your custom event). Optionally, you can add filters, groupings, and breakdowns to your report, such as Contact owner, Contact source, or Contact lifecycle stage. Click Save. I hope this helps you with setting up your HubSpot CRM to track conversions from your website visitors. If you have any further questions, please let me know. 😊
Hi @pankajGRZ , thank you for your help. Basically I think u got the idea and I think it should work. The question is: How can I create my "custom event" and than set it as a conversion?
Btw: The tips on automation is fabulous, I could for expample send a after-service-review when the day after with the aumation you were mentioning.
Happy to help, you can surely track that if the tracking code is correctly setup on your Wordpress page.
The "menu link" is missing
Do you have set of specific pages you want to track?
Do you want to segment those contacts in the list, and create notifications and tasks for them?
What is the end-state here i.e. when you are tracking that conversion (website visit from existing contact) what do you want to do with those contacts?
happy to explore this more with you once you answer my questions
Although you can achieve a simple solution via a WF and based on your lists mark a multi-check box property for all of your products, based on the page visits (recommended)
Also, you can build a custom object to track every single conversion (but it can get messy fast)
