Sensitive Data - Permission for Apps

SOLVE

Hi,

We have the PandaDoc App connected to our Hubspot account. The purpose of the integration is to use Hubspot properties to automatically populate a form in PandaDoc for customers to later sign.

We have this setup nicely, however are missing the ability to populate 'sensitive' or 'highly sensitive' properties. They don't show up as available 'PandaDoc Tokens' to sync when creating a Document.

I understand that using API's you can enable sensitive data scopes for your own Private Apps, and also request Hubspot to review and enable it for your own Public Apps. The issue I have is that I obviously don't own PandaDoc. It's an app that I use and need this information to be enabled and synced.

Currently, I have to manually copy the sensitive data into PandaDoc while all the other information is populated autoamtically. Is there a solution to this, or can a solution be worked out for this?

Thanks!

Sensitive Data - Permission for Apps

SOLVE

Hey @Lorenzoenns, thank you for posting in our Community!

I understand the need to sync sensitive or highly sensitive properties directly into PandaDoc to streamline your process.

Currently, only app developers can request HubSpot to enable sensitive data access through their own private or public apps. Since PandaDoc owns this integration, we recommend reaching out to their support team to ask if they can submit a request to HubSpot to enable sensitive data scopes for the integration. They may already have a process or an option for this.

Meanwhile, one potential workaround could be to explore HubSpot's custom properties or workflows that might help manage and transfer data securely in interim steps, depending on your use case.

Best regards,

Pam

Integrating sensitive data into PandaDoc from HubSpot can be tricky since sensitive properties aren’t supported for automatic sync. Reaching out to PandaDoc’s support team for feature enhancement might help. Meanwhile, you can explore alternative workflows for efficiency.
