Same company in different country

lösung

Hi there,

In our business, we are working with customers worldwide, and we are struggling a lot trying to organize the contacts on a company level.

E.g. We have a contact working at ING Netherlands and another one at ING Austria. How can we make sure those contacts stay separated?

There's any way to create "father" companies and then add all their affiliates on Hubspot? Like Salesforce does?

We would like to have an overview with all the leads we have from a certain company and then visualize the different affiliates underneath within his leads, It would be this possible?

Thanks

Hi @Angelamr,

You could use a parent/child relationship where ING Corporate is the parent and each of the country divisions are child companies. You could then map the appropriate contacts to the individual country they are involved with.

Because the domain names will be the same, new contacts with that domain will be associated with the first company created in the system with the same domain, so you will have to map them to their individual divisions somewhat manually.

Here is an article on parent/child relationships.

Hi Josh,

at our company we have the same problem. We have multiple countries working in one HubSpot account. This leads to the fact that different international contacts are assigned to the same company.

These contacts would need to be seperated and assigned to the right country and/or entity. As far as I know when creating a child or parent company you can only choose from a list of companies that are available in HubSpot. The one that I need might be missing. Is there any way to solve this issue?

Also, at the end of the day I would need to assign each contact manually to the right company as HubSpot always assigns a company based on the company domain name, right?

Thanks a lot

Veronika

@HubspotUser123,

Yes, HubSpot will associate with the company domain by default. If there are multiple companies in the system with the same domain, it will associate it with the first instance that was added into HubSpot.
