I did a search and could not find anything pertaining to setting up tracking of sales compensation/commissions. I understand that as of this moment I am using the FREE CRM tool. But as I setup HubSpot CRM with designs to move us to HubSpot Sales once our existing license is expired, I want to setup our deals now to allow us to properly track and report commissionable metrics from the CRM each month. How are salespeople commissions tracked currently in the CRM?
This is very important, especially if an organization is seeking to move off of another CRM (Salesforce, Sugar, etc.) and your current proposal integration partners (PandaDoc, Proposify) don't support this either so there's a big hole in the process of closing deals. If organizations can't view deal data such as profit from a successful deal then salespeople can't be paid commission.
