Retrieving historical emails associated with a Hubspot contact

Recently, some contacts were accidently deleted from our account.
They were created again via hubspot contact API, but some information like historial emails associated to those are lost / still not retrieved.
We found out that, if we would have restored those contacts from recycle bin, then historical emails associated with them would automatically be retrieved.

So, is there any way by which emails associated with those contacts(which were created via API) can be retrieved again?

Thanks for reaching out.

It would only be possible to retrieve those emails if you have the engagement ID of the deleted emails and the contact ID (vid) of the deleted contact and if the deletion is not longer than 90 days ago.

In that case it might be possible to retrieve the emails via API.
