Restrict field entry based on values from other fields

Hello everyone,

 

We work with mutiple buyers and sellers who can participate in multiple deals over time.

I want the drop-down options to be limited based on values from other fields (manually entered during Emails / calls, no automation workflows).

 

2 examples to make it tangible:

 

1. If the buyer is in Germany, the drop-down field "our custom region" only lists the German regions we created ourselves.  Furthermore, if a sales member somehow enters a French region, HS would reject the entry with a warning sign, and wouldn't allow the record to be saved until the input is acceptable.

 

2. If a contact is updated as "custom stage=existing paying customer", the "custom status=bad timing" cannot be saved anymore and needs to be changed.

 

is this possible? If yes, how?

This is not possible at this stage within HubSpot, I'd recommend commenting and upvoting this similar Idea in our Ideas Forum regarding this, currently being reviewed by our Product Team. You can also subscribe to the idea (Options > Subscribe) to get notified if the status changes.
